Teaching Assistant - BSL Trained
Teaching Personnel are proud to be working with a Primary School in Gateshead we are on the lookout for a Teaching Assistant who are trained in British Sign Language to work with a pupil with special educational needs.
Teaching Personnel are looking for an individual who is able to work full or part time with a minimum of a level 2 in BSL.
The successful candidate will have experience in working with children who have special educational needs (SEN) as well as a qualification in BSL. They will be able to build positive relationships and make the time to really understand the complex needs of each pupil.
In order to apply for this role, you will need to have:
- x2 approachable references
- Experience and understanding of SEN
- Minimum of Level 3 in BSL
