We require a dedicated and motivational KS2 Teaching Assistant for a position at an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary school in the Kenton area of Newcastle. The ideal candidate should have an affluent background in supporting Upper KS2 pupils of mixed ability and have the drive to support and guide pupils to succeed and engage in their learning. Experience of Year 6 SATs is highly desired to work with pupils with challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The position will begin after Easter and will initially last until KS2 SATs around May time, with the potential to be extended.
In order to be considered for this position:
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting in KS2
• Strong behaviour management techniques
• Available after Easter
We also welcome Newly Qualified or experienced Teachers to apply for this role should you be interested in working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
