Teaching Personnel, in collaboration with multiple schools in Horsham, is actively seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Behaviour Support Mentor. Position: Behaviour Support Mentor
Location: Horsham, West Sussex
Hours: Full-time positions available
As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will be a key player in creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students facing challenges such as autism, challenging behaviour, SLD, and PMLD. Your role will involve providing valuable support to pupils in various subjects and contributing to their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build positive relationships with students, fostering a sense of trust and security
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies
- Support students in a range of subjects, adapting to individual learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Passion for working with young learners with diverse needs
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Adaptability and resilience in managing challenging behaviours
- Enhanced Child Only DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
