Are you someone who is able to build solid relationships with students? Could you have a positive influence on hard to reach students within a secondary school setting?

If so, Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Behaviour Support Mentor on behalf of one of our key client secondary schools that is based in Atherton.

This Behaviour Support Mentor is a full time role whereby you will be required to support the learning and engagement of young students aged 11-16 who show signs of challenging behaviour and otherwise may struggle to engage in the mainstream class environment.

Behaviour Support Assistant;

• Supporting individual pupils across all subjects areas including; Maths, English and Science
• Required to start on the return of the February half term
• Working on a 1-to-1 basis with identified pupils and with small groups.
• Previous experience working with pupils with learning difficulties or behavioural issues desirable
• Earn up to £1000-£1200 per month

As a Behaviour Support Mentor it is essential that you are able to build strong relationships with students, be a positive role model and promote good classroom behaviours at all times. You will be required to provide a firm but fair in your approach when working alongside individual pupils to ensure that they are able to reach their full potential.

• The school is located very close to the surrounding areas of Leigh and Tyldesley which offers excellent transport links to Bolton as well as the Wigan borough.
