Do you see yourself as someone who can make a real difference?
Do you want to work in a dynamic and exciting environment?
Are you up for a new challenge?
Teaching Personnel are pleased to be recruiting for Behaviour Support Assistants in an independent special school based in Cheadle, which cater for children and young people aged 8 to 18 years with social, emotional and mental health needs. If you wish to be the person to help these pupils achieve their full potential you will need.
- A patient and caring personality
- Experience of working with or being around SEN
- A dedication to helping young people grow and develop
The school is rated as 'Good' by OFSTED. This was achieved through the creation a broad and balanced curriculum adapted to the individual needs of each student. This curriculum provides opportunities to gain nationally recognised qualifications to GCSE and beyond. This was also designed with the intention to inspire hard reach young people including enrichment projects such as drama and music, cookery, outdoor pursuits, relaxation and vocational skills.
Your role at the school would be to work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups in order to assist with their learning, deescalate situations or provide a nurturing role to the pupils. You will be instrumental in helping the pupils gain the necessary skills to progress both academically and socially, meaning better futures for them.
If you feel this would be the role for you or you would be interested in a similar role, then feel free to contact Dan at Teaching Personnel () at your earliest convenience.
What you can expect from Teaching Personnel:
- A dedicated consultant to discuss current or future roles with you
- An extensively discounted CPD program
- Payment in house, meaning no fees from Umbrella companies
- £9.50 an hour or above
- 13 weeks off per year.
