Teaching Personnel are seeking to appoint a Behaviour Mentor for our Secondary Schools in Basildon and surrounding areas. The successful behaviour mentor will be responsible for supporting individual students and small groups of students, offering academic and behavioural support. This is a flexible role that can include part time or full time work for a successful candidate.
The successful behaviour mentor will have experience working with young people aged 11-16 and will be able to create positive, professional relationships with students and staff. They will work alongside students inside and out of the classroom to encourage, support and motivate students to achieve their potential. Candidates must have excellent behaviour management skills and will be able to diffuse challenging situations calmly and effectively.
This is a highly rewarding role and would be well suited to Youth Workers, Sports Coaches or those who have experience working with challenging young people.
Requirements of this behaviour mentor role:
- Full time behaviour mentor role supporting students across years 7 – 11
- Supporting individual and small groups of students inside and outside of the classroom
- The successful candidate must have experience working with young people
