- Full-time Behaviour Support Assistant.
- To start from September 2020.
- Supporting pupils aged 11-16.
- Working alongside the inclusion manager within a secondary school in Salford.
- Earn up to GBP1400 per month, paid weekly.
Our client secondary school has identified a number of pupils with behavioural difficulties in need of extra guidance during the school day.
The incoming Behaviour Support Assistant will be expected to work with pupils on a 1:1 basis that need continuous support to stay on task and complete assignments set by the teacher. You will be expected to provide interventions, set by the inclusion manager, to support students at varying levels of learning ability. Many of these pupils can show signs of disruptive or withdrawn behaviour and therefore, any previous experience with similar pupils is desirable.
It will be important to monitor and report pupils progress to ensure relevant action is taken where required.
The school is based in Salford and can be accessed via the M60 motorway and by public transport routes from surrounding areas such as Worsley, Bolton and Swinton.
