Are you a passionate and resilient educator who thrives on making a difference?
Do you believe that every child deserves the chance to succeed – no matter their starting point?

We are a specialist Primary Behaviour School in Blyth, providing high-quality education for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Our school caters for children who may have experienced trauma, disrupted education, or behavioural challenges – and we work to re-engage them with learning through care, structure, and consistency.

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary Teacher to join our supportive and committed team. You’ll deliver the national curriculum with a creative and therapeutic approach, building strong, trusting relationships and helping children develop both academically and emotionally.

This is not your average classroom role – it’s a career-defining opportunity to truly change lives.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Primary or Secondary trained welcome
  • Experience working with children with SEMH, behavioural needs or in an alternative provision setting is highly desirable
  • A compassionate, trauma-informed, and relationship-based approach to behaviour
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet individual needs and EHCP outcomes
  • Resilience, humour, and a relentless belief in the potential of every child

We Offer:

  • A nurturing, inclusive, and forward-thinking school community
  • High levels of support from experienced staff and leadership
  • Small class sizes and a strong staff-to-pupil ratio
  • Access to ongoing CPD and training in SEMH and therapeutic approaches
  • A chance to be part of a school where no two days are the same – and where your impact will be deeply felt

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed – come and see the difference we’re making every day.
