We are currently looking for a full time, long term Behaviour Mentor at a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) based in the Lancing area.
The role is to start after May half term, and to continue in September if you are successful, with the potential to go on to a permanent contract.
Job Role
Support a class of 7 students in Key Stage 3 who have been excluded from mainstream education due to their behavioural difficulties
Provide classroom support for academic subjects including Maths and English, as well as non-academic sessions including Life Skills, Social Skills and Independent Learning
Take the chance to mentor young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and help them to take responsibility for their own learning and actions
This job is during term time only, Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 15:30pm
Encourage students to improve their own life chances, to acknowledge self-respect and to respect others, to believe in themselves and to pursue the path which is right for them.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
