Job description

Do you have experience working with young people from challenging backgrounds?

Are you looking for a new role where you can make a significant difference to the educational opportunities of young people?

I am looking for an engaging and resilient individual to work 1:1 with pupils in Pupil Referral Units in Cheshire. This role will involve supporting pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour, both academically and pastorally. You will support them in the classroom, and in outreach and extra curricular activities. The ability to effectively build rapport with young people is essential, as is patience and creativity.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting young people from challenging backgrounds
  • Versatile and creative support style
  • Flexibility and resilience
  • DBS on the update service, or a willingness to gain one
