Role: Behaviour Buddy
School: Primary Aged pupils
Location: Chipping Sodbury
Salary: £54-65 per day
Teaching Personnel is recruiting a behaviour buddy to work with students on a 1:1 basis. This Ofsted rated 'Good' school require a resilient individual who has experience supporting challenging students either in a school or in an alternative provision. As a behaviour buddy you will be delivering individualised support to primary aged pupil across all primary key stages. You will be working with students who struggle to stay focused in a classroom environment and therefore need to be both engaging and enthusiastic. You may also be supporting young people who have some additional educational needs and therefore are quite challenging and may also have challenging outbursts.
Any experience working with challenging young people or primary aged student is desired however not essential.
The ideal candidate:
- Needs to be extremely resilient and experienced with challenging outbursts and supporting people with challenging behaviour
- Be able to build good relationships with students and staff that you will be working alongside
- Experienced in supporting primary aged pupils or pupils with SEN inside and outside of the school setting
- Be reliable and committed to a long term role starting in the new term
Teaching Personnel offer:
