Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant on behalf of a Special Educational Needs school in Shillingstone, North Dorset.
Offering an alternative to mainstream education, and surrounded by 28 acres of land for play and relaxation in Dorset, this SEN school offers facilities that include a theatre, sports hall, riding arenas, climbing wall and swimming pool. Focused on supporting students aged 7-19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD/ASC), their multi-disciplinary teams ensure that every young person benefits from individually tailored support and a home away from home.
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll support students' social and emotional growth. At times, it'll be challenging, as you patiently and skilfully handle positive behaviour management. It'll also be just as rewarding as, after all, you'll be a key influence on people's lives.
To be considered for this role, it is essential you have experience working with young people that have additional needs in an educational setting.
Benefits of working through Teaching Personnel include:
- Weekly pay
- Competitive rates of pay
- Access to our CPD Academy with huge discounts
- A personal recruitment consultant to support you through your journey
- Refer a friend scheme
- Flexibility with annual leave
This school is not easily accessed with public transport so it is essential you have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
