Assistant SENCO required for a school in Exeter.

Are you a qualified SENCO with experience working in a Primary or Secondary Setting? Are you looking to start a new permanent role this September, Or earlier if you can?

The school is looking for an enthusiastic SEN professional with the capacity to think strategically and manage whole school issues.

This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a great team spirit on a permanent basis as the school Assistant SENCO.

The ideal applicant will be a qualified teacher holding QTS/QTLS and be both highly knowledgeable and experienced with Special Educational Needs. Having the SENCO accreditation is a bonus but not essential if you have experience working in this capacity in previous employment.

Most importantly you should be really passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people with Special Educational needs. Naturally you will need fantastic organisational skills and be an excellent communicator, able to seamlessly fit into the supportive team ethos across the school.

The school is an average sized all through school. The current SENCO has been doing a fantastic job so you will be joining at a good time and will be benefit from the well-thought out processes already in place.
