Use your ABA skills supporting a Reception child 1:1 at a fantastic ASD Resource Base

This relatively new and fantastic ASD Resource Base is searching for a TA, with experience supporting ASD learners using the ABA method, Makaton and PECS. This friendly ASD Resource Base has classes from Reception all the way to Year 6. The Resource Base is very friendly and welcoming, with supportive staff and great leadership. The school need an individual confident to work independently, while also being able to work with the class teacher and under the leadership of the unit. You will be supporting a young Reception aged learner, with little to no communication skills, who can express their frustrations in a physical way. You will be expected to use your previous ASD experience and ABA training/experience to support the learner in raising their development and communication. This role will require a committed and caring attitude, with an ability to work with your own initiative, and with the teacher in creating specific learning experiences for the learner.
