A School on the outskirts of Stockport towards Cheshire are currently looking to recruit an Art Teacher who can start as soon as possible. This position is a full time permanent position and would suit a Teacher who has experience working with pupils who dispaly exterme signs of challenging behaviour.
Children and young people who come to this School struggle with social and emotional problems with or without mental health difficulties. They may also attend because they are challenged by attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and dyspraxia or moderate and specific learning difficulties. The School works with children and young people who are on the autistic spectrum disorder including Asperger's syndrome and those who have communication and sensory difficulties. The School successfully supports children and young people with attachment disorders or those who have been victims of abuse.
This particular role will involve planning and delivering lessons to pupils who display signs of extreme challenging behaviour. The role involves planning and delivering Art lessons and a Teacher who has experience planning and delivering lessons would be ideal. The pupils at this Setting often display signs of extereme signs of challenge behaviour, so a Teacher who has experience of working with pupils of this nature is desirable.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Qualfied Teacher Status or unqualified Teacher Status
- Significant experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
