Are you a creative and inspiring Art Teacher looking to nurture young talent and bring visual arts to life in the classroom?

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a number of vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in Walsall and surrounding areas, and we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to share your passion for art while making a lasting impact on students’ personal and academic development.

Role Responsibilites:

• Deliver creative and structured art lessons that meet the curriculum and inspire student engagement

• Guide students through the artistic process, from concept to finished piece

• Encourage experimentation and build students' confidence in expressing their ideas visually

• Organise and contribute to enrichment activities

• Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development

• Create an inclusive, respectful classroom culture that values diversity and individual expression

Role Requirements: 

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Specialism in Art or a related creative discipline

• Experience teaching art at the secondary level 

• Strong classroom management skills and an approachable, enthusiastic attitude

• A genuine passion for arts education and a commitment to student success

• Willingness to participate in whole-school activities and support wider school life
