Art Teacher Cardiff

One of our partner Secondary Schools in Cardiff is looking to appoint an Art Teacher for an upcoming position beginning at the start of the academic year. The school has specified for a Teacher that can deliver lessons for Art and graphics for all key stages.

This role will be until the end of the academic year at least and may roll over into the next academic year depending on when the absent Teacher returns.

The School

- A large sizes Cardiff Secondary School (Approx 1300pupils)

- Pupils aged 11-19 including 6th form

- Strong presence in the community linking with local businesses and partners

- Promotes extra curricular activities

- Excellent education and sporting facilities

As a successful Art teacher you will poses the skills needed to unlock the potential of disengaged pupils as well as supporting those who take a keen interest in the subject.  Good understandings of classroom management as well as dealing with challenging behaviour are attributes that are essential to the position.  The Art teacher in this role will need to work closely with the head of department to plan, deliver and follow up on lessons that will fall inline with the current curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
