After school club - Part time (Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 6pm) - Acton central - £9 to £11 per hours

At Teaching Personnel we are currently recruiting for a part time teaching assistant to support the activities within an after school club. The after school club is run through a nursery school based in Acton, the extended hours work with around 10 - 15 students, you will be supported by 3 other members of staff.

The nursery?

The private nursery school has accommodated for 2 to 5 years old, offering some preschool activities for children under 1 years old. The developed nursery has a vast outdoor space, placing importance on children exploring and experiencing different things. With the huge range of activities and resources offered through the nursery they have taught each student to embrace new things - focusing on developing socially, emotionally, educationally and physically.

The role?

This role is solely working with the after school club, this club is ran by the nursery with around 10 - 15 students. You will be working alongside 3 other members of staff, conducting activities, games and educational based sessions. This small group tends to focus on activities that help wind down the students, keeping a calm and positive learning environment. Within the sessions you will be working within a number of students at different ages and abilities, looking to engage with every student in a variety of different ways.

Ideal candidates?

If you have worked within nurseries or schools, mainly in the EYFS settings then this role is for you. They are looking for proactive members of staff, willing to be heavily involved in the activities and games of each and every student.

This role is going to be a temporary role, potentially until the end of this academic year.
