Do you have the ability to engage, motivate and promote the learning and personal development of specific pupils? Teaching Personnel would like to invite applicants who are enthusiastic, hard-working, team players for the position of Teaching Assistant in one of our SEN Schools in Yeovil.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist in creating a stimulating, safe and happy environment in which our pupils can thrive. You will have the ability to inspire and engage pupils in both learning activities and personal development.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with real presence and passion, who have a proven track record of engaging vulnerable children and will strive to obtain the best outcomes for our pupils as part of a strong and effective team.

The School caters for pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties so at times, can be challenging. You will have the ability and willingness to support pupils both on the school site and, when necessary, in the community.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
