Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)

Location: Gloucester (GL2)

Contract: Full-time

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is searching for passionate and empathetic Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming nursery in Gloucester. You will be working with children aged 0-5, creating a safe, nurturing environment where they can learn and grow.

Your Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):

  • Planning, delivering, and facilitating engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Supporting children’s play, learning, and emotional development
  • Assisting with daily routines, mealtimes, and personal care
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with children and families
  • Working as part of a team to maintain a safe, caring environment
  • Contributing to observations, assessments, and planning

What We are Looking For:

  • A positive, caring person who has a strong desire to work with children.  
  • Formal childcare experience in nurseries or relevant environments.
  • Level 3 qualification (essential)
  • Reliability, good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
  • A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
