Teacher of English – Full Time (QTS Required)
Locations: East Lancashire – Opportunities in Clitheroe & Blackburn

The Role
- Full-time English teaching across KS3 and KS4
- Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons
- Support students’ progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school literacy initiatives
- Long-term placements available with potential for permanence
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
