Teacher of English – Full Time (QTS Required)

Locations: East Lancashire – Opportunities in Clitheroe & Blackburn

Are you a passionate and innovative Teacher of English looking for your next long-term role? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated English specialist to work across East Lancashire, with two immediate opportunities available in Clitheroe and Blackburn.

This is an exciting chance to join well-regarded secondary schools and make a real impact within high-performing English departments.

The Role

  • Full-time English teaching across KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons
  • Support students’ progress through effective assessment and feedback
  • Contribute to departmental planning and whole‑school literacy initiatives
  • Long-term placements available with potential for permanence

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • A proactive, professional, and collaborative approach

Locations

  • Clitheroe – Outstanding behaviour and strong academic outcomes
  • Blackburn – Supportive leadership team with excellent departmental resources
