Job description

Specialist SEN Tutors Needed – Dorchester Area

Help Learners Succeed Through Personalised Support

TP Tutors is recruiting Specialist SEN Tutors to work with children and young people requiring additional educational support across Dorchester and nearby areas. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful one-to-one tuition that helps learners achieve both educational and personal milestones.

Based In: Dorchester and surrounding areas
Working Pattern: Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements
Tuition Style: One-to-one educational support

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver tailored tuition programmes to meet individual learning goals
  • Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and achievement
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and needs
  • Track progress and provide feedback on development
  • Promote independence, confidence, and resilience in learners

About You

  • Experience supporting young people in educational settings
  • Understanding of SEN and additional learning needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable
  • Commitment to safeguarding and learner wellbeing
  • Access to transport and willingness to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
