Empower Young Minds – SEN Tutors Wanted in Poole
Flexible 1:1 Tutoring Opportunities with TP Tutors
TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and motivated SEN Tutors to support children and young people throughout Poole and nearby areas through personalised one-to-one tuition.
Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Poole and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available
Delivery: Face-to-face tuition sessions
About the Role
This position offers the chance to provide meaningful educational support to learners with additional needs in a one-to-one setting. Students may experience challenges linked to Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, or interruptions to mainstream education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and tailored in-person tutoring sessions
- Adapt lesson approaches to suit individual learner needs
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Track learner progress and provide regular feedback
- Create a calm, encouraging, and structured learning environment
- Travel locally to student homes or agreed tuition settings
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people is advantageous
- Ideal for teachers, tutors, youth workers, mentors, or SEN support staff
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A patient, adaptable, and understanding approach
- Strong reliability and time management
- Awareness of safeguarding practices and child protection responsibilities
- Ability to travel within Poole and nearby locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
