Join TP Tutors – Flexible SEN Tutoring Opportunities

TP Tutors is looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Tutors to support children and young people throughout Bournemouth and nearby communities through personalised one-to-one tuition.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Tuition Type: Face-to-face sessions

About the Role

As an SEN Tutor, you will provide tailored educational support to learners who require additional guidance outside of mainstream classroom settings. Many students may experience Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, school anxiety, or gaps in education.

Your role will involve creating engaging sessions that build confidence, encourage progress, and help learners reconnect positively with education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition sessions
  • Adapt lesson plans to meet individual learning needs
  • Support emotional wellbeing and learner engagement
  • Encourage independence, motivation, and self-esteem
  • Travel to learners across Bournemouth for tuition delivery

Who We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people is desirable
  • Backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or SEN support welcomed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable nature
  • Organised and reliable approach to work
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel locally for in-person sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
