Specialist SEN Tutor Opportunities – Bournemouth
Help Learners Thrive Through Individualised Support
TP Tutors is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Specialist SEN Tutors to provide tailored one-to-one tuition for children and young people across Bournemouth and surrounding communities.
Position Details
- Location: Bournemouth and nearby areas
- Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
- Delivery: Face-to-face, one-to-one tuition
What You'll Be Doing
Working closely with learners who require additional support, you will adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, anxiety, and periods of disrupted education.
Key duties include:
- Planning and delivering personalised learning sessions
- Building positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement
- Adapting resources and teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
- Tracking progress and responding to changing educational needs
- Creating a supportive and structured learning environment
- Travelling to learners within Bournemouth and surrounding locations
Who We're Looking For
- Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable learners is beneficial
- Backgrounds in education, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support are welcomed
- Patient, adaptable, and committed to learner success
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
- Access to reliable transport or ability to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
