TP Tutors is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Specialist SEN Tutors to provide tailored one-to-one tuition for children and young people across Bournemouth and surrounding communities.

Position Details

• Location: Bournemouth and nearby areas
• Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
• Delivery: Face-to-face, one-to-one tuition

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with learners who require additional support, you will adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of needs, including Autism, ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, anxiety, and periods of disrupted education.

Key duties include:

• Planning and delivering personalised learning sessions
• Building positive relationships that encourage confidence and engagement
• Adapting resources and teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles
• Tracking progress and responding to changing educational needs
• Creating a supportive and structured learning environment
• Travelling to learners within Bournemouth and surrounding locations

Who We're Looking For

• Experience supporting children, young people, or vulnerable learners is beneficial
• Backgrounds in education, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support are welcomed
• Patient, adaptable, and committed to learner success
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
• Access to reliable transport or ability to travel locally

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
