Make a Difference Through Personalised SEN Support – Poole

Join TP Tutors as a Specialist SEN Tutor

TP Tutors is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Specialist SEN Tutors to provide tailored one-to-one educational support to children and young people throughout Poole and the surrounding areas. 

Location: Poole and nearby areas
Contract Type: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities
Learning Environment: One-to-one tuition sessions

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective individual tuition sessions
  • Create personalised learning plans that meet each learner's unique needs
  • Encourage confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting teaching methods where required
  • Provide a safe, supportive, and motivating educational environment

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people, particularly those with additional needs
  • Backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support
  • A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and procedures
  • Ability to travel within the local area

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
