1:1 Teaching Assistant

Job description

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed learning assistant to support a pupil with additional learning needs.

This is a Part time role (25 hours per Week)

The suitable candidate will enjoy working with children and have the ability to support pupils in all aspects of their learning and development.

Experience supervising and working with SEN children, in particular ASD, will be an advantage. A good standard of literacy and numeracy is essential. This position is for next academic year.

An enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references are required for all successful applicants.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
