1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel work with a Leyland based school which caters for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and some challenging behaviours.

The School are seeking a 1:1 Support Assistant who has experience working with pupils who have additional needs, emotional difficulties and / or challenging behaviours.

The candidate must be empathetic, enthusiastic, compassionate and have a calm nature.

The role will be full time, starting from Monday and candidates will ideally be available tomorrow to go and meet with the Head Teacher / Nurture lead.

The pupil you will be supporting is male, he has Autism and Anxiety, he can at times display challenging behaviours so candidates need to confident in their behaviour management skills whilst remaining professional and empathetic towards the needs of the pupil.

The pay for this role will be approx. GBP10 per hour and school hours are 8.45am - 3.30pm Monday - Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
