Position: 1:1 Non-Verbal Specialist Teaching Assistant
Location: Corby/Kettering
Contract Type: Full-time

- Experience: Previous experience working with non-verbal children is highly desirable. Training in alternative communication methods (PECS, sign language, AAC) will be an advantage.
- Passion: A compassionate individual who is eager to make a positive impact and help children with special educational needs thrive.
- Skills: Patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills.
- Commitment: A willingness to work one-on-one with children to provide personalized, tailored support.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide individual, one-on-one support for a non-verbal child in a school setting.
- Assist with communication, using alternative methods like PECs, sign language, and other tools.
- Work closely with teachers and specialists to develop personalized learning plans.
- Help build the child’s confidence, social skills, and academic progress.
