Build positive, trusting relationships and be a consistent, supportive presence.
-
Create an inclusive environment where every young person feels valued and heard.
-
Support emotional and behavioural needs using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
-
Collaborate closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and other professionals to shape a safe, structured, and nurturing space.
The Ideal Candidate:
-
Experience in youth work, mentoring, sports coaching, or similar supportive roles.
-
Understanding of SEMH, SEN, and the challenges facing young people in alternative education.
-
A natural communicator who builds rapport with ease and earns respect through empathy and consistency.
-
Calm under pressure, adaptable, and passionate about creating positive change.
-
Confident in managing challenging behaviour while maintaining a supportive and compassionate approach.
Why Join Us?
-
Be part of a passionate team focused on transforming lives through tailored education.
-
Access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
-
A genuinely rewarding role where no two days are the same—and every day counts.
