Teaching Assistants Wanted – September 2025 Start
Liverpool | Secondary School(L5) | Full-Time | Term-Time Only
Support SEN Students & General Classroom Needs

Are you passionate about supporting young people in education? Ready to make a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for dedicated, compassionate, and proactive Teaching Assistants to join mainstream secondary schools across Liverpool starting in September 2025.


About the Role:

You'll be working within SEN departments and providing classroom support across a range of subject areas. Your day-to-day will involve:

  • Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Assisting with classroom activities and adapting resources where needed
  • Promoting inclusion and helping students build confidence
  • Working closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support

What We’re Looking For:

A passion for education and student support
Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, youth work, etc.)
Confidence working with children who have SEN
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
