Year 6 Teacher - Mayfair, Westminster

A lovely school in Mayfair (across the road from Hype Park!) are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to begin in January.

The school is an Ofsted graded 'Good' school and they are looking for a member of staff who will continue to hold, and potentially extend this standard of teaching.

They are a lovely one-form entry school with a vision of high aspirations for all. The Senior Leadership Team are supportive and welcoming, they are always on-hand to help with staff and pupil development. The school have close links with St George's Church, Mayfair and Grosvenor Chapel which allows pupils and staff to immerse themselves within their community.

The school encourage both staff and pupils to part-take in extra-curricular activities such as: Art, Science, Sports, Singing, Judo and Street Dance. This allows members of the school to immerse themselves in the arts and find interests outside of the usual curriculum. The school also benefit from London Transport Links allowing them to organise varied and exciting trips across London. Recently the school have enjoyed trips to: London Zoo, London Fire Brigade, Warner Bros. Studios and their local Buddhist Temple.

Shortlisting criteria for this role are:

  • A valid QTS
  • Ability to plan and prepare effectively
  • At least 2 years of Class Teaching experience
  • Experience working within KS2
  • A Positive and optimistic approach to teaching
