Year 5 Teacher

  • Location – Bury (BL9)
  • Start date – September 2020
  • Salary from GBP24,373 - GBP39,490

The school is looking to appoint a Year 5 teacher on a full-time basis starting September 2019. For the successful candidate, this role could continue for the rest of the academic year.

The curriculum is broad and engaging for all students throughout both key stages. This is a diverse school and both students and staff are very welcoming. The behaviour of the students is good and they are highly motivated, as well as very confident. The Head teacher is looking for a strong and experienced teacher who will hit the ground running and maintain the schools high standards.

Throughout both key stages, the students make good progress in writing, reading and math’s. Staff work cohesively as a team to plan exciting learning activities and the environment is exceedingly stimulating, l The achievement of the students and the quality of teaching is the ‘best it has been in years’, therefor the school is looking to recruit an experienced year 6 teacher who will help to maintain this. The role will include planning and marking of work.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Year 5 teacher to be part of a lovely school in the Bury area, where staff and students make great progress. The school is welcoming and ensures that all staff members receive the support and career development that they require.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
