A client school in the Longsight area of Central Manchester, M13, are looking to appoint a Year 5 teacher to join their KS2 as soon as possible. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the post will start as soon as possible and will until the end of the academic year at least. The school are looking for an experienced teacher who has recent experience in KS2 and who has a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum.

The Head Teacher requires a responsible Teacher who will promote a creative learning environment across all areas of the curriculum. The successful candidate will be expected to encourage learning continually whilst adapting and differentiating learning to suit this large, mixed ability class.

The role is to work in a lovely, 3 form entry primary school which was graded 'GOOD' at its last OFSTED inspection. The head teacher and school staff pride themselves on creating a 'calm and collective working environment' and OFSTED praised the school for its 'strong community feel'.

This Year 5 teacher post will start ASAP and will continue up until the end of the academic year. if you have recent experience teaching in KS2 and are looking for your next KS2 Teacher post, then the head teacher would love to hear from you.

To be considered for this post, you will:

  • Have prior experience teaching in KS2
  • Have strong behaviour management strategies
  • Be comfortable adapting and differentiating the Year 5 curriculum to suit the specific needs of the class

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
