- Beautiful village school
- Opportunity to help a child with high needs funding
- Experienced, friendly and mutually supportive staff team
A client school is currently looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work as a one-to-one for a child with high needs funding. The child in question has dyslexia and ADHD and is currently being integrated into a school routine as he didn't want to go to school. As a result, he is currently on a restricted timetable.
Due to the child being on this restricted timetable, the role is currently only 3 mornings a week. However, the school would require a successful candidate to be able to increase their hours over time as the child becomes more integrated.
The school in question is a small Church of England village school which has served its community since 1864. As a Church School, there is a strong Christian ethos and their Christian values are at the heart of everything the school does. The school recognises that each child has their own unique personality which is nurtured through pastoral care and developed through a lively and stimulating curriculum.
The school aims to help their children to embrace new challenges with confidence and prepares them to cope as members of a wider community in an ever-changing world.
The staff team is experienced, friendly and mutually supportive, which the school believes is a real strength of theirs.
For more information on this role or to apply, please call Tom Lawrence on 01622920701 or email tom.lawrence@teachingpersonnel.com.
(The school have informed me that they can extend the booking for the right candidate and perhaps have someone in five mornings and an afternoon.)
