Job Title: Year 4 Teaching Assistant

Temporary, Full-Time hours

Salary:

£13.75 - £14.00 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Assist the Year 4 class teacher in delivering lessons and supporting students
• Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance
• Prepare teaching materials and resources as directed by the teacher
• Supervise students during class activities and outings

Required Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in an educational environment

Knowledge and Skills:

• Understanding of child development and learning processes
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with teachers
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

• Work in a classroom setting within a primary school
• Full-time hours with occasional additional hours for school events
• Temporary position with the possibility of extension
