A mainstream primary school in Darwen is seeking a motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant for a one‑year placement starting in September 2026. About the Role
You will support teachers across the school, helping to deliver high‑quality learning experiences and providing additional support to pupils who need it. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop classroom skills, build confidence and gain insight into the teaching profession.
Key Responsibilities

Support learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

Work with pupils in small groups and 1:1

Assist with planning, preparation and classroom activities

Participate in wider school life and enrichment programmes
