Year 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a large Primary School based in Burnley (BB10) for a Teaching Assistant in Year 3. This school provides a high-quality education which is delivered by excellent staff. The staff will help to provide a caring, supportive, safe learning environment. The successful educator will be working in a full-time role (8:30am-3:30pm) and is required to start in school at the beginning of the next academic year (September 2024). The school have commented on the successful applicant coming into school beforehand for scheduled handover days (availability dependent), this would ensure a smooth transition for the pupil as well as relevant information to be communicated prior to the start date.
Pay rate: £12.90 - £13.55 per hour (Before AWR comes into effect)
The Role:
- Supporting the class teacher or the HLTA covering the class teacher, implemented structured learning.
- Promoting positive pupil behaviour and conduct.
- Help create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure the development of each child.
- Provide encouragement and support during core and foundation subjects.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
