Role Specification
A new opportunity has arrived for an experienced Primary School Teacher (Year 3) in the centre of Westminster - located just a 5 minute walk from 3 different tube stations. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and maintain the high standards of attainment in this 'Outstanding' school! This particular role is managing a class of just 20 pupils, where the Head teacher has recently presented the wonderful option of combining the teaching role with the role as an English subject leader. The role of English leader will require you to help provide small group sessions across SATS Boosters, Grammar, Handwriting and Talk Boost sessions in particular. Although there is this added opportunity for the right candidate, all Teachers are still encouraged to apply. You will also benefit from being joined by a full-time TA support for the class. The highly skilled and passionate staff and governors of the school believe that it is essential in providing a welcoming, bright, happy and thriving school environment for all.
What we're after
- The ideal candidate must be an FQT and hold QTS.
- Be accustomed to the National Teaching Curriculum
- Be creative and committed in providing a fun, stimulating and safe environment that can be sustained through the long term
- Maintain high standards of education - in compliance with the school's Ofsted status.
An exciting primary, this school is first choice for parents within the area and has a strong focus on positive learning. Consistency is key at this school, which is reflected in the most recent Ofsted inspection where a 'Outstanding' grade was achieved in every category.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
