We are currently recruiting passionate, resilient and proactive Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEMH setting in Horsham, supporting children and young people who require additional emotional, behavioural and educational support.

These are full-time opportunities within a highly supportive and rewarding environment where strong relationships, consistency and patience are at the heart of everything.

We are looking for:

  • Primary SEMH Learning Support Assistants
  • Secondary SEMH Learning Support Assistants
  • Specialist English Support LSAs
  • Specialist Maths Support LSAs

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are confident, adaptable and passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Encouraging engagement within lessons
  • Building positive and trusting relationships
  • Supporting behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping students develop confidence, independence and social skills
  • Working closely with teachers and wider support staff

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be calm, patient and emotionally resilient
  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to build rapport with young people
  • Have experience within education, SEMH, SEN, care, youth work or behavioural support (desirable)
  • Be passionate about supporting vulnerable students
  • Be able to work full-time
  • Be aged 21+
  • Be a driver with access to a vehicle - essential
