KS1 and KS2 Teachers wanted in Colchester area!

  • Competitive rate of pay
  • Great support network
  • Rewarding position

A large academy primary school that Teaching Personnel work with in the outskirts of Colchester are in need for more Key Stage 2 teachers to cover in times of short term sickness and unplanned absences. This school are a regular client of Teaching Personnel and we will typically receive calls first thing in the morning or the night before, for daily bookings. If you are a Key Stage 2 teacher and looking for more flexible working, then please do register with Teaching Personnel.

The school do require improvement, but have recently improved dramatically after working with links in their academy trust however the school does have many positives. The pupils are really enthusiastic about school and learning and have a really positive attitude towards their learning. There is excellent progress across the Early Years Foundation Stage and good progress across Key Stage 1 and 2.

The children are extremely safe and behave well. This may be as a result of the highly inclusive attitude that the schools has developed. The school have made good progress on adapting to the high proportion of EAL students and SEN statements. There is an excellent provision of a breakfast club that is run incredibly well.

If you are interested in registering with Teaching Personnel and working with this local Colchester school, as well as many other primary schools we have developed links with in Braintree, Witham, Sudbury, Halstead and Colchester - please contact Thomas Osborn at the Chelmsford Branch on 01245 206 760 or email thomas.osborn@teachingpersonnel.com
