Flexible English Teaching Role – Work Across a Variety of Schools in Exeter

Are you a passionate and adaptable English Teacher looking for a new opportunity this September? Teaching Personnel is recruiting enthusiastic educators to deliver English lessons across multiple schools in Exeter and the surrounding area.

Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to gain experience in a variety of settings, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact while maintaining flexibility in your working week.


The Role:

  • Deliver English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and KS5 where applicable)

  • Work on a supply, short-term, or long-term basis depending on your availability

  • Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and support student progress

  • Engage students in creative, inclusive, and differentiated lessons

  • Build positive relationships with staff and pupils in a range of schools


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience in English

  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language and literature

  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive, proactive approach

  • Excellent behaviour management and communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
