Teaching Personnel are seeking passionate and committed English Teachers to work across a number of our partner secondary schools in the Exeter area.
Whether you are an experienced teacher or looking for your next teaching opportunity, this role provides the chance to work within different school environments while supporting students to develop their literacy, communication and analytical skills.
The Role
- Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
- Support pupils to make strong academic progress.
- Plan lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
- Establish positive relationships with students and staff.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- Work across a number of schools depending on placement requirements.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- A degree or relevant qualification in English.
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management abilities.
- Passionate about English and inspiring young people.
- Adaptable and confident working within different school environments.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
