Year 3 Teacher – Atherton (M46)

Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary (with potential for permanent)
Salary: Pay to Scale (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A friendly and supportive primary school in Atherton (M46) is seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners and helping them thrive as they continue their Key Stage 2 journey.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 experience desirable).
  • Strong classroom management skills with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Enthusiastic, organised, and committed to delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, stimulating lessons that support progress and enjoyment in learning.
  • Use assessment to track pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.
