If you are looking for a role from September and you are sick of applying through County Council websites and not really hearing anything back, then you may want to keep reading on. The role I am currently advertising is a special one which you do not want to miss out on. Due to a restructuring of classes and increase of children attending the school over past years, the Head teacher is looking to appoint another teacher to take a Year 3/4 class. This is a role the Head teacher expects to run for a supply basis and then onto a school temporary/permanent contract. With this in mind, you do not want to miss out on the opportunity so please make sure you read the following specification and apply by sending an up to CV and cover email specifying why you have the relevant experiences to be considered.
The school is located minutes away from the M65 and commutable by car, train and through other public transport services. The school holds a positive Ofsted inspection graded from 2016 and with this, the Head teacher is looking to support local primary schools. You will be expected to hold high levels of written and spoken English and have the enthusiasm to engage all learners in your classroom, particularly for the children who are falling behind expected levels or working above National Average. You will be expected to show a confidence in the classroom that will enable you to build working relationships with the children and the support staff in the working environment.
You must have the following in order to apply for this Year 3/4 class teacher role:
Qualified Teacher Status
Experience in working with the lower KS2 Curriculum and National Frameworks
Be able to build strong relationships with the children in class, their parents, support staff and your work colleagues.
The ability to deliver high quality lesson content through planning to show next steps in learning
Experience working with children from varying social backgrounds and ability levels.
It is not a necessity, but it would be favourable if you had the following;
The passion and commitment to lead an additional subject in school.
Flexibility to lead an after school club one day in the week.
