Exciting opportunity for a Key Stage 1 (year 2) Teaching Assistant, required in Salford, M6.

  • ÂŁ16,000 - ÂŁ19,000 salary

One of our partner Primary Schools in Salford are looking for a confident Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 1 (year 2). This role is to start after Easter for the rest of the academic year support the class and small group boosters.

The Salford Primary School, graded "good" by OFSTED framework, is a one and half form entry school. It has a friendly atmosphere and has an extremely supportive staff structure.

You will ideally have a Cache Level 3 qualification but would happy to see CVs of teaching assistants with Level 2 with a good amount of experience in Key Stage 1. The Salford Primary school are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who has a passion for working with children helping raising attainment. They will want to learn how to assess pupils' progress and have high expectations of themselves and the pupils in their care.

You would have a good understanding of the national curriculum and be confident in both Maths, English and Phonics.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
