An Ofsted "Good" Primary School in Coventry (CV3) are looking for a part time Year 2 teacher to start from April 2018. This role up until the end of the academic year but has the potential to be reviewed to be extended.
This school is based in CV3 and are looking to interview as soon as possible.
The role includes planning, managing, delivering and assessing pupil progress. Your role will involve raising pupil attainment and delivering creative lessons to encourage pupil engagement. The role will involve general class teaching duties as well as additional responsibilities, for example planning and assessing. Each class has 30 pupils with 1 Teaching Assistant and a fantastic leadership team to provide additional support.
The position has come about due to an expansion in their year 2 class. You will be responsible for taking out small groups to support the existing class teacher for 5 mornings and 3 afternoons.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching across KS1 and should be able to commit to this role up till the end of the academic year.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
