Year 1 Class Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Class Teacher in a ‘Good’ rated Infants School based close to New Beckenham Station. The school have a lovely purpose built site and a close staff community where everyone supports each other. For the right candidate a permanent contract will be offered.

The Position

The role is working as a Year 1 Classroom Teacher from November, taking charge of all Teaching Functions. This class has 28 children with no SEN statements and no real behaviour challenges. There will be plenty of support from peers and the majority of the curriculum is mapped out for planning purposes. For the right individual there is a high chance this position will become permanent!

This full time role will be on a long term contract until the end of the academic year if successful. Pay will be between GBP140-170 per day depending on experience.

To Be Successful

Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:

• PGCE or Overseas Qualified Teachers.
• At least 2 Years UK experience working within a Primary School.
• Sound knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum
• Able to commit long term until the end of the academic year.
