Exciting Opportunity: Year 6 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic and caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Year 6 team from June until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension into September. This fantastic opportunity is being offered through Teaching Personnel.

This is a rewarding role where you will make a real impact, supporting a pupil through their final year of primary school, helping them grow in confidence, independence and academic success ahead of secondary transition.

Role highlights:

  • Full-time position within a welcoming Year 6 classroom
  • 1:1 support for a pupil with additional learning needs
  • Collaboration with an experienced class teacher and SEND team
  • Support with SATs preparation and end-of-year progression

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience supporting children in KS2 (ideally Year 6)
  • Brings patience, positivity and resilience
  • Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Is committed to helping every child achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
