Teaching Assistant
Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas
Sector: Primary Education
Pay: £93 per day
Start Date: 01/06/2026

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support a range of primary schools across Bournemouth and nearby areas.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. Whether you have prior experience in a classroom setting, are a graduate exploring a career in education, or are looking for a flexible and rewarding role, this position offers valuable experience and variety.

The role involves supporting teachers with daily classroom activities, working with small groups of pupils, and providing one-to-one assistance where required. It offers a chance to make a positive impact on children’s education while maintaining flexibility in your work schedule.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be patient, reliable, and committed to supporting young learners
  • Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
  • Feel confident providing individual support, including for pupils with additional needs
  • Work effectively as part of a team

  • Enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
