Year 4 Teaching Assistant (Level 2) – Full-Time, Term Time Only

Location: Primary School, Euxton, Chorley, Lancashire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:15pm, Monday–Friday, Term-Time Only
Salary: Pro-rata of full-time equivalent
Essential Qualification: Level 2 Teaching Assistant (TA2) desirable

We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Euxton, Chorley, supporting pupils in Year 4. The successful candidate will provide general classroom support, help children of all abilities access learning, and work closely with the class teacher to support pupil progress.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 4 classroom

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines

• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups as directed

• Helping to maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment

• Assisting with lunch duty and other school routines as required

This is a full-time, permanent, term-time role, ideal for a Level 2 TA looking to make a meaningful impact in a Year 4 classroom in Euxton, Chorley.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
